The winter of 2009-2010 told in just over five minutes: the snow outings of the Aria Sottile Hiking Group, through snow-laden woods, rocky ridges and slopes to climb with ice axe and crampons.
In the video you see rock faces dusted white, the group in single file climbing a ridge between snow-covered trees, and the last slopes under a blue sky. It is not a documentary: it is the memory of a season spent together in the mountains.
On snow you need the right gear (crampons, ice axe and, where needed, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe) and the skills to use it. Before setting off, always check the snow and avalanche bulletin.
