Picnic Areas
Mountain lovers know how well kept the picnic areas of the northern regions of Italy can be. Green meadows, wooden fences that always look new, clean and working barbecues, tables, benches, rubbish bins emptied regularly. They are all signs of care for the land. That's how we would like the picnic areas of the Apennine regions to be.
With this section we are throwing down a challenge to the municipalities and Regions of the Apennines and to the Mountain Communities, hoping that this challenge will be taken up seriously.
Here we will point out the most interesting picnic areas, the ones that prove to be best maintained, small or large spaces where you can spend a few hours with the family, improvise a snack with the children or find a little cool air in the summer heat.
