Let's change the subject a bit today and talk about... stag dos, rafting and Trentino! Yes, I know that here we talk about routes, but I don't know whether any of you has ever had the honour of organising a stag do.
Well, I'm giving you an idea for celebrating but also for getting away from the usual routine. What could be better for breaking out of the routine than extreme sports, like rafting in Trentino, for example?
In Val di Sole, for example, there are several rafting centres that have got themselves organised to guide hordes of men (but women too!) who want to spend a few hours between sport and, let's face it, horseplay and wild celebrations.
Let me point out, for example, what a centre in Dimaro does (http://www.raftingcenter.it/Offerte/Addio-al-celibato): you can choose to go rafting but also hydrospeed, Tarzaning (crossing rough ground by climbing or using makeshift bridges), downhill (an extreme test of mountain-bike skill) and lots of other activities that will pit you against nature at its harshest and rawest. You can then make the most of the services of the Salus Vitae wellness centre, 50 metres from the Rafting Center, with an indoor heated pool, Turkish bath, sauna and relaxation rooms for massages.
What with alcohol, music and loads of people, the groom-to-be will have a veeeery long day.
