On 18 September 2022 I reached my two-hundredth summit in the Apennines, just after turning fifty. A day planned and put together by Francesco, with the Aria Sottile group back together for the first time in over ten years.
The slideshow tells the day from dawn to the party: the hug in the car park, the effort of the climb, the summit with the 200-peaks pennant, the way back and the final surprise at the Baraccone in Prati di Mezzo. It is a thank-you to the friends who never stopped being there.
