Rifugio Massimo Rinaldi stands on the summit of Monte Terminilletto at an altitude of 2108 m; you can easily reach it on foot by the comfortable path that climbs from Rialto or by the chairlift, also at the same spot.

The Rifugio Massimo Rinaldi stands on the summit of Monte Terminilletto at an altitude of 2108 m; you can easily reach it on foot by the comfortable path that climbs from Rialto or by the chairlift, also at the same spot.
Lunch/dinner and overnight stays are available; naturally, as with most Apennine huts, which in summer risk being full of hikers, booking is recommended.
For overnight stays there are 12 beds available; in winter it is generally closed and is opened only when large groups book.
How to get to Rifugio Massimo Rinaldi
From Rome take the Salaria, following the signs for Monte Terminillo. Past the ski and tourist resort of Pian de Valli and past Campoforogna, after a couple of bends you come close to the chairlift. From here you can see the hut, which you reach on foot in about 1 hour of climbing.
For such an important hut, the only pity is that it stays open little more than a month a year...
From the hut you can carry on towards the top of the group following the normal route to Monte Terminillo.

The hut is open essentially in the summer period. On easy paths, from the hut you can reach the highest summits of the group: Monte Terminillo, Scindarella, Terminilluccio.
